Description:
Strategic marketing communications company in downtown St. Louis is looking to add a full-time staff position in our Interactive Group.

The required Field Expertise & Acumen for this position include:

• Expertise in Action Script 2/3
• Expertise in the Flex 2/3 Framework including creating custom components
• Knowledge of User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design
• Candidate must have experience with all software development life cycle phases (Project planning, requirements definition, Systems design, Implementation, Integration and testing, installation, deployment, & Maintenance )
• Object Oriented Programming; including all facets relevant to Action Script 3.0
• Object Oriented Design; including solutions to new challenges using existing design patterns
• Testing frameworks such as Flex Unit, and application micro-architectures such as Cairngorm and Model-View-Controller(-Service)
• Designing applications with dynamic data sources such as XML files or SOAP/Webservices
• Solid understanding of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Experience with desktop audio, video, and animation concepts

• Server-side (ASP/Access, .Net/SQL Server, RoR/mySQL) and alternative desktop application (C#, Java, Visual Basic) development experience considered a strong plus

Experience
Candidates must demonstrate previous work. Past experience working within an agency setting such as collaborating with business development, project managers, art directors, etc., is preferable. Candidates must have a minimum of three years practical experience to be considered. We build solutions for our clients that are best-of-breed in technical and creative execution. We need a dynamic individual who understands the role of mentor to a team of developers.
